The following clinics will be closed for staff training March 13, 2017 through March 15, 2017:
Tuberculin (TB) Skin Testing
STD (Sexually Transmitted Disease) Clinic
CTS (Counseling and HIV Testing) Clinic
A variety of clinic services are provided to Canton City residents by the Nursing Division such as childhood immunizations and tuberculosis (TB) testing. Clinic services available without residency requirements are the Sexually Transmitted Infection Clinic, Travel Clinic, and Counseling and Testing Site (HIV testing) Clinic. At this time, all services offered by the Nursing Division are provided at no charge, except for the Travel and TB Clinics.
The nurses work closely with the Environmental Health Division as well as other community agencies and schools to help resolve health related problems. Nurses are available to provide information to interested groups about their services, information on HIV/AIDS, other sexually transmitted infections and also other health issues.
