Dr. Johns has practiced family medicine and sports medicine from his office in Canton, Ohio since 1985. He is the Canton McKinley High School team physician and a proud member of the Canton McKinley High School Football Hall of Fame. He graduated from Lehman High School in 1974 and attended the University of Cincinnati and, later on, the University Cincinnati College of Medicine. He chose to specialize in family medicine and attended residency at Akron City Hospital Family Practice Residency. He was inducted into the St. Luke’s Physician Honor Society by Mercy Medical Center in 2014 and was awarded the Outstanding Physician Leadership Award by Aultman Hospital in 2020. He is happily married to his best friend, Donna, and is a proud father of four and grandfather of four. Dr. Johns was appointed to the Board of Health of Canton City Public Health by Mayor Bernabei in 2019.
