Canton has very few household sewage treatment systems (septic), but it is important to note that failing systems will not be permitted to operate, and the owner of a home within the city limits and within a reasonable distance from a sewer line will be required to connect to the municipal system. 

We have worked with many people in the past with this endeavor, and we will exhaust all avenues of available funding to assist you in connecting to the city lines.
