Due to additions in the State budget this year, requirements that forced schools to comply with stringent safety measures (known as Jarod's Law) were repealed.  Health departments now go back to the checks and balances that were in place prior to 2008, inspections within the school twice a year.  In Canton, we have an excellent relationship with our school partners, and we will continue to provide any information and training needed to assist our local schools in providing a safe environment for our children.
